Matt (vocals/guitar/saxophone/harmonica/flute/trumpet) studied at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and has spent the last few years performing in England. His vocal range and multitude of instruments allow The Shades Duo to perform a wide range of songs.

Michael (guitar/vocals) has been playing professionally for fifteen years. He has gained extensive experience from performing and recording with many diverse artists as The Celibate Rifles, Human Nature, Shannon Noll and The Cosmic Nomads! His musical range allows him play rock, pop, jazz, latin and other styles. He has also released a CD which is receiving airplay in Europe and the US.
